Bhubaneswar: Odias are shining at the cooking reality tv show ‘MasterChef India’. Odisha’s Smrutisree Singh impressed the judges with her culinary skills following Abinas Nayak who got selected last week.
The 26-year-old woman from Angul impressed three judges of the reality show – Vikas Khanna, Ranveer Brar and Vineet Bhatia- with her dish ‘Kuttu-a-pasta’ during the audition round of MasterChef India, Season-6.
Popular chef Vikas Khanna tied the ‘MasterChef’ apron to Smrutisree.
When Ranveer asked Smrutisree, why she thinks she deserves the ‘MasterChef’ apron, the 26-year-old said, “I deserve it because I want the world to taste Odia cuisine and know more about Odisha.
Smrutisree is a hotel management graduate from the Institute of Hotel Management, Bhubaneswar.
Earlier, Abinas Nayak from Aska in Ganjam district wowed the judges with his dish ‘Chicken Besar’ and made it to the list of top 10 ‘MasterChef India’.
