Kabul: Pakistani-origin terrorist, Assadullah Orakzai, who was the chief of ISIS Khorasan Intelligence, was killed by the National Directorate of Security (NDS).
Media reports said Orakzai was killed in an operation near Jalalabad city of Nangarhar province.
The intelligence agency said in a statement late on Saturday night that the Special Units of the NDS have eliminated Ziaurrahman known as Assadullah Orakzai, the native of Akhel Orakzai agency of Pakistan’ during a targeted operation.
Orakzai was involved in plotting deadly attacks on a number of military and civilian targets in Afghanistan.
ISIS Khorasan carried out the March 25 Kabul Gurdwara attack in which at least 25 Sikhs were massacred.
