Ganjam: In a major crackdown against adulteration of food, police have busted a spurious soft drinks manufacturing unit at Khandadeuli under Patapur police limits in Ganjam district.
Acting on a tip-off, police conducted a raid at a location in Khandadeuli on allegations of manufacturing of cold drinks using labels of branded firms.
Police seized huge stock of adulterated soft drink articles worth Rs 25 lakh from there.
A case has been registered and further investigation is underway in this regard.
