Jajpur: Police here have busted a fake sauce manufacturing unit at Kundal under Barchana police limits in Jajpur district.
Acting on a tip-off, a joint team of Barchana police and Darpan tehsil official conducted a raid at
the manufacturing unit and seized a huge cache of raw materials, logos and packets of reputed brands.
Sources said police have sealed the unit following the raid.
On the other hand, the samples collected from the unit have been sent to the State Food Testing Laboratory for examination. Accordingly, action will be taken against the culprits, police added.
