Bhubaneswar: With the release of Standard Operating Procedures (SoPs) by the Directorate of Higher Secondary Education, the process for admission into the plus-II course for 2021-22 academic sessions began in Odisha from today.
Students can apply for the courses through online mode. They can visit SAMS portal (https://samsodisha.gov.in) and download the application form.
The government will soon release a notification mentioning details regarding the admission.
Students have been advised to refrain from doing any deal with any private agency or agent and give them documents for admission.
The admission will be carried out with full compliance to COVID-19 guidelines.
According to sources, no admission will be allowed at any schools located under containment zones. The same can be conducted after the area is declared containment-free zone.
The Odisha government had recently started process for increasing seats in Plus 2 colleges in order to ensure that students who have passed the Class 10 examinations would not face any difficulties regarding seats.
