Padampur: Padampur police on Monday night rescued the BJP leader Dillip Kumar Senapati, who was allegedly abducted on Monday evening.
According to reports, Dillip was abducted from Sanadadar Chhak of Jharbandh Block under Padampur assembly constituency on Monday evening. Lanjigarh BJD MLA Pradip Disari and his accomplices have been accused of abducting him at gunpoint.
Following this, a complaint had been lodged at Jharbandh Police Station in this regard. Later, at around 11 pm, the BJP leader was rescued by the police in critical condition. He was severely injured in various parts of his body.
