Aastha Tourist train from Puri to start today


Puri: The Indian Railways has launched an all-inclusive Aastha Tourist Special Train from Puri which will take travellers to a mix of popular pilgrimage destinations in northern parts of the country at an affordable price on April 4 (Tuesday) for a period of 11days and 10 nights up to April 14.

As per sources, the passengers of this region who are not getting confirmed tickets or are not getting direct trains to the particular religious destinations may avail this facility not only by the IRCTC tourist package system but also by the General Class tickets purchased through the Unreserved Ticketing System.

Common people or passengers who are not able to travel in the package system of the tourist train can travel to various religious destinations of north India like Gaya, Mathura, Vrindavan, Agra, Haridwar and Rishikesh, Amritsar and Vaishnodevi from Puri, Bhubaneswar, Cuttack, Bhadrak and Balasore.

There are six coaches for common passengers on point-to-point booking.
