Bhubaneswar: The State Health & Family Welfare Department on Thursday said that another 97 coronavirus patients have recovered in Odisha.
Officials said the patients were discharged from the hospitals after being cured of the dreaded disease.
They said out of 97, seventeen patients were recovered from Cuttack, 16 from Khordha, 16 from Ganjam, 14 from Kandhamal, 9 from Mayurbhanj, 7 from Jajpur, 5 from Puri, 4 from Nayagarh, 3 from Kendrapara, 2 each from Baragarh and Keonjhar and 1 each from Dhenkanal and Sundargarh districts.
The officials said with this, the total number of recovered cases in Odisha have gone up to 3144 and active cases dropped to 1354.
As many as 174 fresh COVID-19 cases were reported from 18 districts earlier in the day taking the total count to 4512 in the state.
