To reinforce the message of fitness, youth empowerment, and a drug-free nation, the 94th edition of Fit India Sundays on Cycle will take place in Varanasi on Sunday, Oct 11, 2026.
Organised around the theme “Nasha Mukt Yuva for Viksit Bharat,” the cycling rally will route from Namo Ghat to Diksha Mandap at Sampurnanand Sanskrit University starting at 6 AM.
Dr Mansukh Mandaviya, Union Minister of Youth Affairs & Sports and Labour & Employment, will attend as Chief Guest. Joining him are distinguished 2026 Aichi-Nagoya Asian Games medalists, including gold-winning hockey player Raj Kumar Pal, dual bronze medalist Parul Chaudhary (3000m steeplechase & 5000m), track athlete Prachi Chaudhary (400m bronze), and relay medalist Jay Kumar.
Their presence aims to inspire youth on the power of discipline, regular physical activity, and choosing a healthy, substance-free life.
Before the rally, Namo Ghat will host engaging wellness activities, including yoga, Zumba, and interactive games. The nationwide initiative is organised by the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports (MYAS) alongside the Cycling Federation of India (CFI), Raahgiri Foundation, and MY Bharat.
Concurrently conducted across all States and Union Territories—including SAI Regional Centres, Khelo India Centres, and over 6,000 NAMO Fit India Clubs—the movement highlights cycling as an accessible, eco-friendly way to make daily fitness a national habit while driving collective action against substance abuse for a stronger, healthier India.
