8 Killed, 7 Missing After Passenger Ship Overturns In China’s Guizhou Province

Beijing: As many as eight people died while seven others are reportedly missing after a passenger ferry carrying 46 people capsized on Saturday in China’s Guizhou Province.

According to reports, the accident took place on the Zangke River in the country’s Southwest region.

Till now at least 39 people were rescued, with 31 in non-life-threatening conditions.

A rescue operation and an investigation into the accident is underway, reports added.
