Phulbani: Age is not a barrier to education. An example of this can be seen in Phulbani, Kandhamal district. Phulbani MLA Angad Kanhar took the Class 10 matriculation examination at the age of 70. Sitting among the crowd of students, the legislator was seen taking the exam.
The legislator and two of his friends took the exam together at Rujangi School in Phulbani today. The legislator arrived at the examination center today as usual and entered the hall after checking the admit card.
Similarly, the Sarpanch friend of the MLA and the Sarpanch of the Luising Gram Panchayat also took the exam in the same school as the MLA. This has become the focus of discussion as a legislator re-examines at this age.
