Puri: Secretary to CM (5T) VK Pandian on Saturday visited the native village of Utkalamani Gopabandhu Das, Suando in Puri district.
Pandian was accompanied by Puri Collector Samarth Verma and other government officials.
He reviewed the developmental works being carried out by the State Government in the area.
It is pertinent to mention that Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik had announced to transform of the village into a heritage site during the foundation laying ceremony of Suando Setu.
Works on temple and pond development, the establishment of a museum, and a wayside amenity centre on the approach road connecting the National Highway with the village were reviewed by Pandian.
