Balasore: In compliance with the 5T framework of Odisha Government, Food Supplies & Consumer Welfare Minister, Ranendra Pratap Swain today paid a surprise visit to the Balasore district headquarters hospital (DHH) for inspection.
The Minister reviewed the health care services, cleanliness of the state-run DHH and also collected feedback from the patients and their attendants.
Minister Swain also met a critical patient, who has been battling for life following a tragic mishap which claimed the lives of three of his family members, a few days ago. Besides, Swain also made necessary arrangements for better treatment of the ailing person at SCB Medical College and Hospital in Cuttack. This apart, Swain also provided Rs 25000 to his family member as emergency assistance.
Later, Minister Swain also paid a visit to an orphanage in Balasore and spend some valuable time with the children. He even collected feedback from the children on the quality of food, education and other facilities provided to them. Swain further advised the authorities of the orphanage to provide better education to children which can brighten their future.
