46,232 new cases push India’s COVID-19 tally to 90.50 lakh
New Delhi: Total confirmed COVID-19 cases in India have risen to 90,50,597, according to the latest update by from the Union Health Ministry. This number includes cases involving foreign nationals, patients who have recovered and the death toll.
The death toll in India due to the novel coronavirus pandemic has risen to 1,32,726, the Union Health Ministry has said.
The reported active COVID-19 cases in India stand at 4,39,747. As many as 84,78,124 COVID-19 patients have been cured and discharged so far.
COVID-19 tally of five worst-affected states:
> Maharashtra – 17,68,695 cases
> Karnataka – 8,69,561 cases
> Andhra Pradesh – 8,59,932 cases
> Tamil Nadu – 7,66,677 cases
> Kerala – 5,51,669 cases
