4 ANM Workers Suspended For Entering Srimandir Without Permission
Puri: As many as 4 ANM workers have been placed under suspension by the Puri Chief District Medical Officer (CDMO) for allegedly entering Srimandir without prior permission.
Reportedly, the four workers were deployed to conduct thermal screening of devotees visiting the temple.
It is worth mentioning, the Puri Srimandir reopened for devotees after a gap of nine-month following Coronavirus pandemic and subsequent nationwide lockdown.
The Puri district administration and the Shree Jagannath Temple Committee (SJTA) made elaborate arrangements to ensure devotees adhere to all the Covid-19 safety protocols strictly amid the ongoing pandemic situation. The visitors are being allowed inside the 12th-century shrine from the Singhadwar gate only.
