Bhubaneswar: At least three persons succumbed to deadly coronavirus in the past 24 hours, informed the State Health and Family Welfare (H&FW) Department.
With the fresh fatalities, the death toll jumped to 1883.
The deaths were reported from Bolangir, Ganjam and Sundargarh districts.
The health department has also shared the details of the Covid-19 patients who succumbed while under treatment at hospitals during the period.
- A 40-year-old male of Bolangir district who was also suffering from Diabetes Mellitus.
- A 57-year-old male of Ganjam district who was also suffering from Diabetes Mellitus and Hypertension.
- A 58-year-old male of Sundargarh district who was also suffering from Diabetes Mellitus.
The State has now 2,408 active caseload while 3, 25,965 patients have so far recovered from the infection.
