25th James Bond film launched, cast revealed

Jamaica: The 25th James Bond film was officially launched by EON productions at Ian Fleming’s villa in Jamaica. However, the movie has not been titled yet.

Bond producers Barbara Broccoli and Michael G Wilson, as well as new director Cary Fukunaga, told radio presenter Clara Amfo that the new film opens with Bond relaxing in “his spiritual home”.

The official cast will include Daniel Craig, Ralph Fiennes, Lea Seydoux, Ben Whishaw, Naomi Harris, Rory Kinnear, and Jeffrey Wright. New faces will include Dali Benssalah, Billy Magnussen, Ana De Armas, David Dencik, Lashana Lynch, and Rami Malek. Lea Seydoux is reprising her Madeleine Swann character from 2015’s Spectre, while Jeffrey Wright is returning as ex-CIA agent Felix Leiter.

Besides this, Oscar-winning actor Rami Malek is to play a villain in the 25th official James Bond film.

The unnamed film, which will be released next April, will be Daniel Craig’s fifth and final outing as 007.
