Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government has announced two-day special leave for all the employees to exercise their voting rights in the ensuing 2019 elections.
Chief Secretary Aditya Prasad Padhi has intimated all the departments in this regard.
As per the order, the employees working in various departments of the state government will be entitled to get special casual leave (CL) for two days to cast their votes in their concerned places and villages during the elections.
Accordingly, the state government employees will be granted leave on the day of elections and the following day.
Notably, Odisha will go to polls in four phases, i.e. on April 11, 18, 23 and 29 for 21 Lok Sabha and 147 Assembly seats.
