Bhubaneswar: The COVID-19 pandemic in Odisha has claimed 16 more lives, the highest single-day death toll in the state so far.
With the fresh fatalities, the death toll has reached 2,104.
As per the latest data, Khurda witnessed maximum 4 deaths followed by Gajapati and Kalahandi which saw three casualties each. Sundergarh and Rayagada districts registered two death cases each.
Similarly, one patient each from Puri and Sambalpur succumbed to the virus during the period.
