Bhubaneswar: A total of 13 police personnel from Odisha will be honoured with Republic Day Police Medals on January 26.
Of the medal winners, two officials have been selected for prestigious President’s Police Medal for distinguished service and 11 for Police Medal (PM) for Meritorious Services, the Union Home Ministry announced.
Two officials, Radha Kishan Sharma, Director Intelligence, Intelligence Directorate, SIW Bhubaneswar and Budhi Bahadur Thappa, Deputy Subedar, Biju Patnaik State Police Academy, Bhubaneswar will be conferred with the prestigious President’s Police Medal For Distinguished Service. Similarly, 11 police personnel selected for Police Medal For Meritorious Service includes:

3. Bhabani Shankar Mishra, Additional SP (SIW), Bhubaneswar

5. Prakash Chandra Pal, Assistant Commissioner Of Police, ACP Zone VI, Bhubaneswar
6. Manoranjan Satpathy, Assistant Sub-Inspector, Vigilance Directorate
7. Saroj Bhoi, Crime Havildar, Sundergarh
8. Seikh Nassiruddin, Driver Havildar, Vigilance Directorate
9. Gautam Patra, Constable, Sunabeda, Koraput
