12 OAS Officers Deputed To Five COVID-19 Affected Dists In Western Odisha

Bhubaneswar: The State government on Sunday deputed as many as 12 OAS officers to five COVID-19 affected districts in western Odisha.

The General Administration & Public Grievance (GA&PG) Department has issued an order in this regard. These OAS officers deputed in western Odisha will help the district administrations in managing the pandemic.

As per the order, the following 12 OAS officers have been deputed to the Districts mentioned against their names to work under the respective District Administration until further orders.

  1. Bibekananda Sahoo, OAS (S), Additional Secretary to RDC (CD); Hemanta Kumar Singh, OAS (S), Regional Manager, OMC, Rayagada; and Sweta Kumar Dash, OAS Gr. A (SB) Deputy Secretary to Govt, ST & SC Development Dept, M&BCW Dept have been deployed in Nuapada.
  2. Ajodhyakant Satapathy, OAS (S), Settlement Officer, Dhenkanal Keonjhar Major Settlement; and Dilip Kumar Mohapatra OAS Gr. A (SB) Deputy Secretary to Govt, Works Dept have been assigned to Bolangir district
  3. Durga Prasad Mohapatra, OAS (S), Joint Secretary to Government, Tourism, and Dhirendranath Kar, OAS Gr. A (SB) Deputy Secretary to Govt, Higher Education Dept were deployed to Bargarh district.
  4. Madhusudan Behera. OAS &A (SB), OSD, Sports & YS Department; and Pravat Kumar Sahoo, OAS Gr. A (SB) Deputy Secretary to Govt, Board of Revenue, Cuttack, were assigned to Sambalpur district.
  5. Santosh Kumar Dash, OAS Gr. A (SB) Joint Secretary to Govt, Co-operation Dept; Ashish Kumar Jena, OAS Gr. A (SB) Additional Director, ROTI Bhubaneswar; and Debasis Patnaik, OAS Gr. A (SB) Deputy Secretary to Govt Board of Revenue, Cuttack has been assigned to Sundargarh district.

The Controlling Authorities of the concerned OAS officers have been asked to relieve their officers forthwith to enable them to report before the Collector/ DM of the respective districts immediately.

Besides, the Officers under orders of deployment have been directed to report before the Collector/DMs of the respective Districts accordingly without fail and submit the compliance report by April 28, 2021.
