10th Hockey India Senior Women National Championship 2020 (A Division): Results Here


Kollam: Hockey Haryana, Hockey Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh Hockey, Hockey Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh Hockey Academy and Central Reserve Police Force registered victories in their respective Pool matches of the 10th Hockey India Senior Women National Championship 2020 (A Division) held here at the Hockey Stadium on Sunday.

In a Pool A match, Hockey Madhya Pradesh beat Kerala Hockey 9-0. Karishma Singh (3’, 8’, 37’, 42’) starred for the winning team scoring four goals. Narender Kaur (1’, 50’), who opened the scoring for Madhya Pradesh, finished with two goals. while Neelu Dadiya (10’), Raju Ranwa (41’) and Akansha Singh (54’) scored a goal each in the victory.

In a Pool B match, Hockey Haryana trounced Hockey Karnataka 8-0. Deepika (23’, 42’, 49’) scored a hat-trick in Haryana’s victory, while Annu (15’, 25’) scored a brace. Mahima Choudhary (14’), Poonam Rani (40’) and Devika Sen (57’) also found the back of the net for Haryana.

In a Pool C match, Hockey Maharashtra scored three past Hockey Punjab to win the hard fought encounter. Goals from Pooja Bhanu Das (11’), Rutuja Dadaso Pisal (24’) and Bhavana Khade (58’) ensured Maharashtra’s victory.

In another Pool C match, Uttar Pradesh Hockey beat Hockey Unit of Tamil Nadu 3-1. Vinamrata Yadav (14’,20’) scored a brace and Archana Bhardwaj (47’) scored a goal in Uttar Pradesh’s victory. The sole goal for Tamil Nadu came from R. Kavya (41’).

In a Pool D match, Madhya Pradesh Hockey Academy got the better off Hockey Jharkhand beating them 2-0. Karishma Yadav (36’) scored the first goal for Madhya Pradesh through a penalty corner. The second goal was scored by Ishika Chaudhary (56’).

In another Pool D match, Central Reserve Police Force defeated Chhattisgarh Hockey 5-1 to go top of the standings with four points from two matches. The victory for Central Reserve Police Force was secured through goals from Puja Yadav (49′, 55′), Pinki Ekka (24′), Sushma Kumari (35′) and Priya Rai (52′), while Chhattisgarh Hockey’s only goal was the first equalizer that was scored by Anjali Mahto in the 30th minute.

On Sunday, the matches between Hockey Odisha vs Hockey Bhopal; and Hockey Gangpur – Odisha vs Hockey Rasjasthan were forfeited.
