Cuttack: Dengue patients continue to get admitted to SCB Medical College and Hospital in Cuttack with at least 101 persons tested positive for dengue at the hospital.
According to Dr. Sriprasad Mohanty, nodal officer of SCB Dengue Ward, a total of 101 dengue patients are undergoing treatment and six of them have been shifted to ICU after his condition deteriorated.
Reportedly, blood samples of 155 p[ersons have been collected for testing and 43 out of them tested positive of the mosquito-borne viral disease.
Of the dengue patients, 11 are from the Balasore, 7 are from Cuttack district, 7 from Kendrapara district, 2 from Jajpur district and one each from Jagatsingh[ur, Ganjam, Dhenkanal, Keonjhar, Khurda, Mayurbhanj and West Bengal.
Emergency treatment and free blood tests are being provided to patients suffering from dengue. Patients suspected to be suffering from dengue are thoroughly checked and admitted without delay.
