Cuttack: The Justice Bimal Prasad Das commission, constituted by the state government has recommended for appointing a Vigilance officer in the temple and to renovate its security pattern.
The commission is thoroughly observing the activities in the temple following which it may propose the government to appoint a Vigilance officer for monitoring income and expenditure of the temple, Justice Das said.
Reportedly, Justice Das and his team paid a visit to the Tirupati temple to study its synchronized administrative structure so that the disciplined mechanism would be implemented at Puri Jagannath temple as well.
The commission’s recommendation will have no impact on tradition and rituals of the temple but the commission will setup a disciplined administrative system in the temple.
Throughout the trip they studied the action plan of Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam Trust (TTD) for managing deevotees ‘Darshan’, performing timely rituals, preparation of ‘Prasad’ and tough security arrangements.
