Bhubaneswar: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be in the state capital on April 15. For his security arrangement, a certain route in the city that the PM will take will be shut for vehicular traffic for 30 minutes.
On Saturday, the PM will be landing at 4 pm at the airport from where he will leave for Governor’s House. From here, he will take the Power House, 120 Batallion, Kalinga Stadium, Jayadev Vihar, Nalco Square route to reach Janata Maidan for the BJP national executive meet. This route will hence be shut for 30 minutes for general public for security purposes and to avoid traffic. Separate routes have been charted for emergency services and ambulance during this period.
To ensure patients being carried in ambulances will not suffer, a separate route has been made. Ambulances will not be allowed through AG Square on April 15 and 16. Ambulances coming from Acharya Vihar will have to reach Capital Hospital via Raj Mahal through Sishu Bhawan Square and those coming out from Capital hospital will need to take the same route.
The routes for fire services will also be different on these two days during that period.
