New Delhi: Supreme Court has banned sales and registration of BS III vehicles and asked the manufacturers to sell their inventory in the remaining days of March. Following, the ban on the sales and registration of BS III vehicles after April 1, 2017, many brands and their dealers are offering big discounts.
This is fact for two-wheeler manufacturers as they have the largest BS III inventory in stock at 6.71 units. Some bike makers such as Hero MotoCorp, Honda and TVS are offering great deals as per the following:
Hero dealers throughout the country are offering up to Rs 5000 off on all BS III bikes. The discount rate is highest Rs 12, 500 on the Maestro Edge scooter.
Honda dealers in many cities are offering discount of Rs 10, 000 on Activa 3G and a discount of Rs 5000 on Dream Neo. Some other dealers are willing to give a discount of Rs 20, 000 on CB Shine, Rs 22, 000 off on CBR150R and CBR250R, and Rs 15,000-20,000 off on CB Unicorn 160 as well as the Dream Yuga. They are also ready to throw a discount of Rs 12000 off on Dio, Rs 13,000 on all scooters and the highest discount is Rs 18,500 offered on Navi.
Many TVS dealers have told that discounts range from Rs 10,000 on Apache RTR 200 4V to Rs 5000 off on Apache 160 and the Victor 110. For the Jupiter the discount amount being offered is Rs 10,000.
