Bhubaneswar: The country stepped forward for a pollution free environment after Union Petroleum and Natural Gas Minister Dharmendra Pradhan today launched BS-IV grade fuel distribution for 12 cities of India from Bhubaneswar on the occasion of Utkal Divas.
“I feel very glad for the three major oil companies of India who have managed to come up with Bharat Stage (BS) IV grade fuels in a short period of time, “said Pradhan.
“The initiative is the beginning of a new era for reducing environmental pollution by decline in the rate of carbon emissions. The country-wide launch of BS-IV grade fuels from Bhubaneswar is a moment of pride conveying the glory of Utkal Divas,” he added.
He further added, “Switching to BS-IV fuels shows the nation’s resolve under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi to reduce carbon emissions.”
