Two terrorists killed an encounter in Srinagar, 3 Jawans injured

Srinagar: Two militants were killed on Sunday after an encounter broke out with security forces in Delhi Public School (DPS), Srinagar.

Militants had attacked a Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) patrol on Saturday that left a trooper dead, as per sources.

Three army personnel including a captain level officer have also been injured in the encounter.

The militants entered into the premises of DPS Srinagar on Saturday evening after carrying out an attack on the CRPF personnel deployed on road opening duty near the school on Srinagar-Jammu national highway.

The Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) militant outfit owned responsibility for the attack.
