Jaipur: Three class X students- Chetanya Golechha, Mrigank Gujjar and Utsav Jain in Jaipur have got Rs 3 crore funding for their ‘Infusion Beverage’ start-up.
The trio formulated the idea of changing their fates from an entrepreneurship fest held at their school in April last year. The dream turned reality in less than a year for these students of Jaipur’s Neerja Modi School, who had covered the voyage from preparing the idea, finding investment solutions and developing product service.
“Our presentation of the product failed to impress the judges in the fest. We were kicked out in the first round. Though we were out of the competition in the first hour but got the order of delivering 150 flavored water bottles,” said Golechha.
However, they managed to grab the opportunity and delivered 150 bottles. Since then they haven’t looked back and while they were looking for a major leap in the start-up, an investor called them to Indore for a meeting in January.
In his statement Jain said, “The meeting was successful in the first hour and they decided to fund Rs 3 crore. Under the agreement, we have the responsibility of marketing and research. The plant will be based in Indore”.
