Mumbai: Tata Sons launched a scathing attack on ousted chairman Cyrus Mistry and removed him from chairmanship of Tata Consultancy Service (TCS) on Thursday. He was sacked as Tata Sons Chairman on October 24.
In the nine-page statement Tata Sons released, Ratan Tata alleged Mistry of betraying trust and trying to control operations of the main firms of the group.
A few days after the board of Tata group company Indian Hotel Co. Ltd (IHCL) strongly supported Mistry, another group company Tata Consultancy Service (TCS) removed him as chairman in an announcement made to the stock exchanges about it.
