Bhubaneswar: With the death of two more persons on Monday, the swine flu death toll in Odisha rose to 38.
According to a health official, two persons were infected with H1N1 virus and undergoing treatment at city-based Sum Hospital and KIIMS Hospital, succumbed on Monday.
The official said that while 16 swabs were sent for examination to Regional Medical Research Centre (RMRC) here on Monday, and 4 found positive for the deadly virus.
With this new case, the total number of Swine Flu persons in the state increased to 350, he added.
The Health Department has asked hospitals to create isolated wards to treat the H1N1-infected patients.
