Bhubaneswar: State commerce and transport minister Ramesh Majhi has requested Union Rail Minister Suresh Prabhu to allocate more Rail racks to JSPL. Majhi has written to Prabhu regarding the same in a letter on Friday.
In his letter Majhi has mentioned that JSPL has established a steel project in Angul. This Rs 15000 crore project will soon include a blast furnace that will operate in the plant. For the raw materials to reach the plant there is a need of more rail racks, the state transport minister has written.
Majhi has requested Railways to provide more rail racks to resolve the issue and added that with increasing investment in the state industrial growth has also been observed. Hence, he has requested for support.
