Cuttack: In a meeting, the Odisha State Government Employees Coordination Committee has decided to conduct state-wide protest on April 28.
The protest is planned to be observed if the State government fails to publish the fitment committee’s reviewed report regarding finalized modalities of the 7th pay commission recommendations by April 31.
Aggrieved members of the committee had called up a meeting under the chairmanship of President Akhaya Kumar Mishra, General Secretary Narottam Parthasarathi and other members holding important posts of the committee.
Earlier, State government had declared of publishing the review report by February 18 to implement the 7th pay commission recommendations headed by Additional Chief Secretary of the state. However, already two weeks are over and the report is yet awaited by employees and pensioners in the state.
