Bhubaneswar: The Board of Secondary Education (BSE) is planning to digitize database of students to ensure easy accessibility of their matriculation examination related records.
“If everything goes fine as per the planning then soon students of state will be able to get their marksheets and certificates at click of a mouse”, said an official.
The Board has given a proposal to the state government seeking funds for the project and officials are hopeful that its ambitious project will take off this year.
“A detailed proposal along with a technical report prepared by Industrial Development Corporation of Odisha Limited (IDCOL) has been submitted by the Board to the state government for the project,” said Board’s president, Sushant Das.
“We need at least Rs 3 crore for the project as a dedicated computer section will be set up to scan and digitize records of lakhs of students,” added Das.
