Bhubaneswar: The Special Protection Group or SPG responsible for the security of the Indian Prime Minister is leaving no stone unturned to ensure maximum security during PM Modi’s Bhubaneswar visit. SPG IG Yoshwant Kumar Jethwa today visited the state capital and discussed security arrangements of the PM with police commissioner YB Khurania.
The SPG IG discussed the planning of security for the PM”s visit to Lingaraj temple in particular. PM Modi will be visiting the temple alone and as per the itinerary he is to spend some time there and will witness some rituals of the deity. The temple administration has planned to present him special ‘prashad’ offered to Lord Lingaraj.
IG Jethwa discussed the entire placement of security for this programme and also for the other engagements of the PM in Bhubaneswar on April 15 and 16.
