Seven Bollywood films to watch in 2017
The silver screen will showcase some of the most awaited Bollywood films in 2017. We bring you seven must-watch movies for the upcoming year.
Raees: “Ammi jaan kehti thi, koi dhanda chhota nahin hota. Aur dhande se badakoi dharm nai hota.” The dailogue of Shahrukh Khan’s upcoming film “Raees”. The film was recently in news for its leading lady, Pakistani actress Mahira Khan, who makes her Bollywood debut with the film. There were rumours that the film would not get a release owing to the recent ban on Pakistani artistes working in India.

Jolly LLB 2: Arshad Warsi had stolen the show in Jolly LLB in 2013. The sequel ‘Jolly LLB 2’ is also a comedy drama film, written and directed by Subhash Kapoor. The film stars Akshay Kumar and Huma Qureshi. Saurabh Shukla would be seen again in a special appearance in the sequel alongside Arshad Warsi. Annu Kapoor will be the rival lawyer against Akshay Kumar in the film.

Rangoon: Rangoon is an upcoming Bollywood romance drama film, directed by Vishal Bhardwaj and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala. The project is a period film set during World War II. It stars Kangana Ranaut, Saif Ali Khan and Shahid Kapoor in lead roles.
Tentative release date: 24 February, 2017
Jagga Jasoos: Turning into a detective, Ranbir Kapoor will be seen in and as Jagga Jasoos in the comedy thriller directed by Anurag Basu, and produced by Basu and Ranbir. The film features Katrina Kaif and Adah Sharma in lead roles opposite Ranbir.

Baahubali-2: After creating waves in Indian cinema with the first episode, Baahubali -2 is the sequel of the Indian epic historical fiction film directed by S. S. Rajamouli. The director revealed that the second part would be “more emotional and with more grandeur”, while speaking at Busan Asian Film Market.

Tubelight: Bollywood bhaijaan Salman Khan’s upcoming “Tubelight” film is based on historical drama. The film is directed by Kabir Khan and is based on 1962 India China war.

2.0: Superstar Rajnikanth and Akshay Kumar’s upcoming film “2.0” is expected to create new benchmarks for its grandeur in every possible aspect. It is made on a huge budget of over Rs 400 crore, even surpassing Baahubali which is the costliest Indian movie till date.
The film is directed by S.Shankar, co-written by B. Jeyamohan. Following the Robot legacy, 2.0 has Rajinikanth playing the lead role and action man Akshay Kumar as the villain.
