Reliance has formed a strategic partnership with Niantic Inc the publisher and developer of the game for launching the game in the fastest high speed 4G LTE Network of Gio.
With the launch of the game thousands of company digital outlets and other selected stores will appear as PokeStops or gyms where gamers can have richer and more entertaining experience. Gamers can activate Jio retail locations and charging stations as PokéStops and Gyms within the game and catch, train, and battle at any of Jio’s outlets throughout the country using social messaging app, JioChat.
Pokémon players have access to an exclusive Pokémon Go Channel. The Pokémon Go Channel will enable Pokémon Go players to collaborate and be part of an exciting community of players with daily tips, contests, clues, and special events.
Jio’s mission to empower Indians with opportunities for experiencing power of data and digital life falls in good line with the launch of the game just when it has decided to extend it free data service till March 31 next year.
