Cuttack: With an aim to promote spiritualism among the students, the authorities of Ravenshaw University have decided to set up a spiritual books library on its premises soon.
“This will be the first spiritual library in the state to promote spiritualism among the students,” informed University Registrar Maheswar Agasti.
The library will initially be opened at the Kanika Library inside the university, he added.
The grand old institution has also decided to introduce a motivational programme for the students on the university premises. Initially, it will be organised by the Computer Science department in all the hostels twice a month. Later, it will be expanded to other departments of the university in a phased manner, the Registrar said.
The students will get opportunity to interact with persons who have achieved success in different fields. Yoga classes will also be held for the students under the programme to improve their physical and mental fitness, memory and self confidence, he added.
