Then Sibasankar Roy joined with Rishav Das and added 71 runs before being out LBW by Dheeraj Singh for 39 runs. Then came Amit Verma who played 34 balls for his one run and was Dheeraj’s second wicket.
Rishav Das who had been batting like a snail got some quick runs towards the end and completed his half century before being out leg before by captain Govinda Poddar for 68 off 222 balls. First innings century maker wicketkeeper Kunal Saikia and skipper KB Arun Kartick played for the draw before both the captains decided to call it a day with Assam finishing innings at 164/4.
