Raj Thackeray, Who supported Narendra Modi in 2014 elections, now criticised Narendra Modi for not fulfilling promises made during 2014 election campaign. Thackeray admitted that it was his mistake to support Modi in the 2014 General Elections. Thackeray cautioned Marathi people about Modi government conspiring against Marathi Manoos.
On the conspiracy against Mumbai, Raj said, bullet train, shifting international financial centre to Gujarat and moving Air India headquarters to Delhi was all part of it. “Even Gujarati people do not want bullet train. As per the Railways survey, 40 percent of trains going to Gujarat from Mumbai are empty”.
Thackeray said communal riots may take place in the near future and that the Ram temple issue will lead to it. “Ram temple matter is pending in the Supreme Court and there is a conspiracy cooking; few groups have been asked to create communal tension between Hindus and Muslims. Then this government will use this sympathy wave during election. Ram temple should get constructed but not for such reasons”.
“Modi gave the slogan of ‘Congress Mukt Bharat’ but I would say this is a time to make ‘Modi Mukt Bharat’. All the opposition parties should come together for that. In 1947, we got our first independence, in 1977 second independence and a third independence is awaited in 2019 and that would be Modi Mukta Bharat,” said Raj Thackeray at his speech.
