Bhubaneswar: The Bhubaneswar Meteorological Centre on Thursday has said that some places in interior parts of Orissa are likely to receive light ranfall in the next 24 hours.
Bhubaneswar Meteorological centre Director Sarat Chandra Sahu has said that the prevailing weather system shows that a trough line has been formed over Assam-West Bengal- south interior Odisha. As such, light to moderate rainfall is likely to occur in some interior pockets of the state on Friday.
He also said that some parts of North Odisha would also likely to receive rainfall during March 18 and 19.
The mercury will start rising at all places across the state from March 21.
