New Delhi: The meeting with 23 District Congress Committee Presidents with the Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi at the party war room here ended earlier with discussions mainly focused on strategizing and preparations for the upcoming panchayat polls tabled during the meeting.
Discussions on panchayat elections were mainly held during the meeting, state in-charge BK Hariprasad said urging party workers to work in sync as per advice from the high command. “Rahul ji advised us to do well during the panchayat polls,” he said.
Similarly, Cuttack District President Mohammad Mokim said full power have been vested on the DCC Presidents. They have been given full power to take disciplinary actions against the wrong doers.
“Prasad will definitely stay and none will try to oust him. It has been instructed by the high command that the party will be built up under his leadership,” Mokim said.
“Everyone participated in the meeting with full heart. Another review meeting will be held after three months,” he added.
