Bhubaneswar: The Council of Higher Secondary Education (CHSE) on Saturday expressed concerns over the publication of annual Higher Secondary Examination -2018 (Plus Two) results which is likely to be delayed this year.
Amarendra Pattnaik, Chairman of CHSE said since almost 50 per cent have not joined the evaluation process of Plus Two answer sheets, publication of results is likely to get delayed.
Even as total 5,800 teachers were asked to join the evaluation process this year, only 50 per cent of them have joined yet. In comparison to last year, around 5,000 less answer sheets have been so far evaluated.
On the other hand, Patnaik said action will be initiated against teacher s who have not taken part in the evaluation process.
He further said action will be taken against teachers if they do not join the evaluation duty tomorrow.
Pattnaik further said that action will be taken against teachers not taking part in the evaluation process. The Controller of Examination has been instructed to direct supervisors of all evaluation centres to file FIR against absentee teachers.
No excuses except health-related issues will be accepted as the reason for remaining absent, he added.
Notably, a total of 3,80,707 students have appeared for Plus Two annual examinations which were held between March 6 and 29.
