New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday interacted with the Commonwealth Games 2018 medal winners in Table Tennis. The sports persons had called on the Prime Minister at Parliament House, New Delhi.
The Prime Minister congratulated the medal winners for their exemplary performance in the international arena. He added that their performance have made the entire nation proud.
The Prime Minister acknowledged the rise of sporting talents from the small towns in India and emphasised the need for continuously nurturing them.
Minister of Petroleum and Natural Gas Dharmendra Pradhan and Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Youth Affairs and Sport Rajyavardhan Rathore, were also present on the occasion.
