Bhubaneswar: The Plus Two exams in the state that commenced from March 6 will conclude today with the Chemistry paper examination. Earlier, the exams were scheduled to conclude on March 28. However, owing to wrong question paper sent to some centres, the Chemistry paper had to be shifted to March 30.
On March 14, during the Math examination, over 10 centres received Chemistry question papers. Since the paper could have been leaked, the Council of Higher Secondary Examination (CHSE), decided to shift the Chemistry exams from March 16 when it was originally scheduled.
While a probe has been ordered by the School and Mass Education department, the students appearing for entrance examinations of medical and engineering had to suffer with no time to prepare for the entrance till March 30 due to new schedule.
As per reports, a total 3,80,707 students of 1,504 colleges in science, arts, commerce and vocational education streams appeared for the examination.
