Parala tragedy : Ananga’s kin seek OSHRC intervention to hasten probe

Bhubaneswar : With the investigation of Parala suicidal mishap getting all slowing down, kin of deceased Parala manager Ananga Manjari Patra and her three other siblings have approached the state human rights commission.

As per sources Ananga’s brother her two sisters and brother in-law met OSHR Commissioner Tuesday morning and asked his immediate intervention into the matter for hastening probe into the controversial alleged suicidal cases.

They alleged that the Crime Branch which has been handed over the responsibility of investigation into the case is trying to slow down the investigation under pressure from some invisible force. The agency is not taking actions and bringing in the accused ones into the purview intentionally.

Notably, on august 21 Ananga and her three other siblings were found dead in their locked house at Jangama sahi in Paralakhemundi following allegations of their involvement in forcing the Parala king Gajapati Gopinath Deb to house arrest and misappropriating his royal properties.
