Islamabad: In a major development Pakistani Film Exhibitors Association has decided to lift ban on Indian films on Sunday.
The chairman of the Film Exhibitors Association, Zoraish Lashari confirmed that the cinema owners will begin screening Indian films from December 19.

The association will lift the ban with the release of Sohail Khan’s directorial ‘Freaky Ali’ starring Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Arbaaz Khan, and Amy Jackson in pivotal roles.
Notably, as a protest against the ban of Pakistani artists in India , On September 30, the management of Pakistani cinemas, Lahore’s Super Cinemas and Karachi’s Nueplex and Atrium cinemas, announced their decision to indefinitely ban the screening of all Indian films.
