Bhubaneswar: Ola and Uber today announced their partnership with the Airports Authority of India (AAI) to provide services in five airports of India, including Biju Patnaik International Airport (BPIA) in Odisha capital.
The services will be available at Pune, Kolkata, Chennai, Lucknow and Bhubaneswar airports.
The alliance will bring facility for air passengers to book a cab through the booking kiosks at the airports itself.
Old said it would extend its services to commuters through designated “Ola Zones” and “Kiosks” at the four airports.
The partnership will enable Ola driver partners to park their vehicles at a designated area, bringing down the estimated time of arrival to as low as two minutes.
However, Uber said their service would be operational in the airports in Kolkata, Lucknow, Chennai, Bhubaneshwar and Pune in a couple of weeks.
The company would set up booking zones at the airports, enabling passengers to book a ride even without the app.
