Bhubaneswar: To explore business opportunities, the government has come up with the Odisha MSME Trade fair 2017 starting from today at the IDCO Exhibition ground in Unit-III here.
This Trade fair is participated by more than 50 start-ups from different business sectors.
Besides,, more than 300 entrepreneurs are participating in the MSME trade fair hosted by the state’s Department of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises which includes entrepreneurs from food processing and packaging, Engineering and allied products , Plastics and chemicals, Exporters, PSUs and Banking sectors.
The inaugural ceremony is scheduled to be held today at 5 pm by Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik. The general visitors are allowed to visit the fair from 2pm to 9 pm.
With having prime focus on promoting business start-ups, five seminars will be conducted during the fair starting from tomorrow which includes Mission 1000 start-ups, Developing MSME sector in Odisha, Women Entrepreneurship development, Credit mobilization to MSMEs and exporters promoting start-ups in tourism sector and Potential of food processing sector in Odisha.
