Bhubaneswar: In an effort to strengthen the healthcare delivery system, the Odisha government has initiated process to fill-up the vacancies of doctors in the state.
The state government has decided to start counselling from tomorrow to recruit 596 doctors including 113 specialists and 483 MBBS doctors. The doctors will be appointed within 10 days after the conclusion of the counselling process, an official statement of the health department said.
Besides, the government will appoint 171 dentists through the counselling within the ten days.
Moreover, the state government will appoint 2,000 MBBS doctors according to the rule of a new cadre. The recruitment process will be completed very soon, the health department statement added.
